Privacy policy

netVis s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") processes personal data in the position of a controller or processor within the meaning of and in compliance with the applicable legal regulations of the Czech Republic and REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation"). These Principles come into effect on 19 January 2025 and may be amended, in particular, but not exclusively, in connection with the development of case law relating to the relevant legal regulations on personal data protection or the Regulation, as well as in connection with the legitimate interests of the Group. These Principles are of a general nature and serve to inform the public (i.e. data subjects, including, for example, users of website applications, potential clients of the Company, or job applicants, etc.) about the possibilities and methods of personal data processing by netVis s.r.o. Personal data processed by the Company within the meaning of these Principles are processed exclusively on the basis of:
  • the consent of the data subject (user, client, job applicant, etc.)
  • the legitimate interest of the Company – e.g. provision of services, marketing activities, security of provided services or technologies, protection of the Company’s rights, enforcement of legal claims
  • performance of contractual obligations with the Company’s clients/suppliers, or
  • compliance with legal obligations imposed on the Company by applicable legal regulations.
Personal data processed within the meaning of these Principles are retained only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the data are processed. Subsequently, they are deleted.

2) What data we process

  • Contact form: name, email, company (optional) and message content.
  • Operational data: basic server logs (e.g., IP address, user-agent, request time) necessary for security and operation.
  • Cookies: this website is designed to work without marketing cookies; any technical cookies are used only for core functionality.

3) Purpose & legal basis

  • Handling inquiries and communication — performance of a contract / steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Website security — legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4) Recipients / processors

Your data may be processed by hosting and email service providers (processors) to the extent necessary to operate the website and communicate. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing.

5) Retention

  • We retain the data from the contact form only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the data are processed.
  • Operational logs are typically kept for 30–90 days (depending on hosting settings) for security purposes.

6) Use of AI

To respond faster and prepare drafts, we may use AI tools internally. We do not feed sensitive data into AI tools and always minimize data. If a specific engagement required processing data in a third‑party AI system, it would be handled contractually and transparently.

7) Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

8) Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss or misuse of personal data.
